Fruit trees

Here is something I enjoy. When you wander around Uppsala you will see lots of fruit bearing trees. These are not only planted on private land but on public land (which most land is in a way). This is fruit for everyone and for anyone. It is nice to have trees planted that offer something other than aesthetics. Around our apartment complex we have dozens of apple trees and a bunch of cherry trees also, although the birds are eating the cherries. there are also some small shrubs with berries that I have been eating, against Elizabeth's advice, without knowing exactly what they are.
