Runestone

This is a runestone. There are runestones scattered all around Uppsala, mainly the University area, but elsewhere also. You can also find them out in the middle of nowhere, in a pasture or field. This one was found in 1910 in a corner of present day Gamla Torget. In the Middle Ages a Franciscan Monastery was located in the area.
